Dr Alp Atik

Cataract & Glaucoma Specialist

Dr Alp Atik is a dual-fellowship-trained cataract and glaucoma specialist, serving as Head of Glaucoma at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He has undertaken training at Harvard University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and locally at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. His practice encompasses the management of glaucoma, cataracts, and complex eye disease.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Atik is actively involved in teaching, research, and the training of future ophthalmologists. He is known for combining academic rigour with a practical approach, helping patients understand their condition and treatment options with clarity.

Dr Atik founded The Eye Doctors to create a modern specialist eye clinic dedicated to clinical excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient care.

Jamie Heo

Practice Manager

Jamie Heo leads the day-to-day running of the practice and is the first point of contact for many of our patients and referrers. With a focus on warm, attentive service, she ensures every appointment, referral, and enquiry is handled with care and efficiency.

From coordinating with optometrists and GPs to supporting patients through their journey at the clinic, Jamie Heo helps make every visit to The Eye Doctors a seamless experience.
